Well, it seems we are destined to have delays to start our RV adventures... we left for our Fall Colours Tour 3 days late in September, 2014 due to a freak snow storm that hit, that is still referred to in Calgary as "Snowtember, 2014".
And we were supposed to leave this morning for our "Spring USA Tour" which is mainly to see southern Utah and Wyoming, but as always, we prefer the less direct route of going down via California so we can visit family and friends. We always seem to end up in California anyway, so we're just starting out there this time.
But alas, the temps have been extreme, especially with the wind chills, and the trailer is a frozen block on the side driveway. The truck sits on the front driveway and awaits the thaw... We hope to leave Wednesday (Feb 8th) when there is a break in the weather...
In the meantime, Sam is again biding his time, waiting for his adventure to begin... today it was helping his Dad with baking
The pool table downstairs is awash with things that cannot freeze... it would be nice to load the trailer before Wed, but that's not going to happen... and so we wait.
